A few weeks ago I had a photoshoot in Kilburn for my existing and up and coming products.
It was waaay overdue and I’m really glad that I done it though I had only booked a 2 hour slot and I didn’t realise until we were shooting how quickly that time goes!
I do think that it makes sense to do product photoshoots regularly (like every 6 months or so) and time it so that you’re able to incorporate any new products into your shoot also.
I will be releasing 3 new products just in time for Christmas! (Wood Wick Candles, Hair Perfume and Eau De Parfum)
Here are the fruits of my labour (or his, depending on which way you want to look at it!):
- Anniversary Reed Diffuser
- Lavender, With Love Luxury Soy Candle
- Lemongrass & Mandarin Himalayan Pink Salt Body Scrub Souffle’
- First Love Eau De Parfum
Would love to know your thoughts on the new photography and products!

This week we’ve been featured on a wonderful blog called Rules of a Lady, cool name huh?!
Rules of a Lady is a young, fashion forward lifestyle blog created by Italian blogger Silvia Cavagnini. She is big into fashion, lifestyle, interior design and infact anything beautiful and unusual and she contacted me recently about doing a collaboration with her. She looks for products that she really likes on websites such as Etsy (where she found me), and then she contacts companies about doing a feature on them. I just happened to be one of the lucky ones. She was particularly taken with my Coconut & Musk Soy candle and my RoseGold Reed Diffuser. A few weeks ago I sent her my very favourite soy candle Apple Blossom and Pear and my Luxury Grapefruit Bath Salts to review and she took a picture of it and left a review here:

Contrary to popular belief, there are a range of natural products that can do the job of maintaining your beauty regime just aswell if not BETTER then your current commercial staples. There is almost no product that can’t be replaced with a natural one, which is just aswell as I’ve decided to go all natural. With my recent transition of going natural with my hair (meaning no texturisers, relaxers or chemicals of any kind), I’ve started to see the benefits of being completely natural.
Also, though it can be a little time consuming, it’s less maintenance overall.
I’m no longer having to go to the hairdressers to get them to treat my hair as I can do it at home, using my own homemade products. For styling I simply use a homemade blend of water, glycerine and essential oils to soften and lightly scent my hair and then I grease my scalp and hair with Coconut oil. Coconut Oil is great for the hair and skin, it aids with hair loss, strengthening the hair and imparting a natural sheen. It helps with loss of protein and provides a cooling sensation on the scalp for people with sensitive scalps. It’s also a very good conditioner and lessens the build up of dandruff. Melted and applied to the hair and used as a hot oil treatment is another great way to keep the hair soft and moisturised and the scalp healthy.
The following products can be made at home, using products from your kitchen cupboard! Do you know any great natural recipes for any of them? – if so post your recipes below for a chance for it to be featured in the next I’m going natur-elle blog post!

I was recently contacted by a Beauty and Lifestyle blogger who regularly writes reviews on large and small independent companies beauty products. She’s based in the UK, and has a very easy to understand, unbiased yet thorough writing style that I liked so I was very happy to send her 2 of my products to review. I sent her: Himalayan Pink Salt Body Scrub Souffle’ and Frankincense & Myrr (Frankincense & Myrrh) Soy Pillar Candle. She claims that my body scrub is possibly the finest scrub she’s ever used! Needless to say I am very flattered 🙂
